TSHIPI E NTLE MINING VARIOUS LEARNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining Proprietary Limited is an autonomously operated and managed, black empowered manganese ore maker. Tshipi é Ntle signifies “beautiful steel” in the local Tswana language.

Tshipi is not simply the biggest single manganese mine and exporter from South Africa but at the same time is one of the five biggest manganese metal exporters worldwide.

Situated in the Kalahari Manganese Field (KMF), the biggest manganese-bearing geological formation in the world, Tshipi Borwa Mine is a shallow open-cast activity created on a huge and homogenous metal body with a currently confirmed life of mine of roughly 30 years.

Ntsimbintle Mining, a B-BBEE organization, was formed in 2004 to pursue after investigation and mining open doors arising in the South African manganese area and effectively applied for prospecting privileges in 2004, in a space among Kathu and Hotazel, in the Northern Cape. These rights were held in Ntsimbintle’s subsidiary company, in particular Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining (Pty) Limited.

Beginning prospecting activities started in 2006. Ultimately Pallinghurts Resources and OM Holdings acquired a stake in Tshipi. The Tshipi mining right application was endorsed in 2010 and after a 20-month construction and commissioning phase, Tshipi Borwa Mine railed and exported its most memorable manganese metal.
